This book is about Bother and Sister Bear. When they are home alone one day they are deciding what to do, and after many ideas Brother Bear starts to play soccer and Sister Bear blocks it with her knee. While doing this they book Mama Bear's lamp, and when the lamp broke Mama came home shortly after. Brother and Sister Bear told Mama bear that a bird broke the lamp, and when they tried to tell Papa Bear they couldn't remember the exact story but they tried their hardest. They ended up telling Mama the truth and tried to fix the lamp with Papa. Brother and Sister Bear learned how important it is to not tell a lie, and how once you do tell a lie there might not be as much trust as there was before.
